Evaded Ida!

HA! I knew I could trick the bitch! I had posted all along that I was going to Destin when in fact, I was headed to Ft Walton. By the time that I arrived in Florida; Ida was long gone and had no idea that I was here....guess the change in hair color worked!

The weather was wonderful for my visit. It was great seeing Jennie and the boys again. It's been way too long....

Jenni and I spent the day shopping and messing around town (after my visit to Eglin AFB: more on this in another post). We had a bay-side lunch at Scully's.

For dinner, Jenni fixed a great home-cooked meal of BBQ Ribs, mac n' cheese and baked beans!! I just love it when people cook for me...

Headed North tomorrow....should be home early next week! I miss the family and am looking forward to spending Turkey Day surrounded by family for once in a very long time.
